I. The End Can Never Justify the Means
How we arrive is part of what we build. Every step toward a good destination must itself be truthful, dignified, and good—without exceptions.
The axioms are concise rules beneath every stewardship decision. They protect the framework from exceptions based on urgency, identity, power, or a preferred outcome.
Each axiom applies inwardly and outwardly, to allies and opponents alike.

Retaliation does not cancel the original wrong; it compounds it. An opponent’s conduct never lowers our standard.
The Golden Rule becomes operational through empathy: understand the other person’s real position and extend the dignity, process, and care we would accept in their place.
The individual human being is the unit of moral consideration. No one is reduced to a group, used merely as a means, or denied a fair hearing.
